My heart is full!

If even half of the change President-elect Obama has proposed happens, can you imagine the improvements in our country? In our standing in the world?

I know a lot of McCain/Palin supports that are very sad right now, and I’m truly sorry for them. I remember very clearly how I felt in 2000 and 2004. But even though I am empathetic, I am still overjoyed at the prospect of the change to come.

My husband really wants to have another baby. I think I’ve been waiting until this election before I decided to go for it. I am so ready to shake of the fear that the world is crashing down around our shoulders and get on with the business of making things better.

I miss my mom tonight. She would be so excited about this whole election - I really wish I could share it with her. I can’t wait to see what smart people Obama fills his cabinet with. I just can’t wait!
